General Manager - Project Manager/ Guitar, Piano, Music Theory and Solfeo Teacher

Graduated from the National Pedagogical University with a degree in music with an emphasis on the interpretation of the Piano.

He completed his thesis in the study and analysis of educational concerts of chamber groups of the Philharmonic Orchestra of Bogota getting great reviews from the jurors. Currently he works as the General Director of the Fundación Vida y Arte and Teacher at the music department. He teaches Guitar, Piano, Music Theory, Ensemble since its inauguration. He is also responsible for the projects such as “Meeting Points” and “Artistic Leaders – Seventh Mayor”.

He began his guitar studies in 2007, delving into technique and interpretation when he joined the foundation in 2009, where he studied directing and arrangements, which he uses at the service of several groups inside and outside the Foundation. He belongs to the “Artistic Leaders, Major Seventh” project as a teacher and as a student where he deepens his studies and prepares to enrol in the Conservatoire of the National Pedagogic University, where he expects to achieve a bachelor’s degree in Music.

Administrative Assistant / Guitar and Piano Teacher

Jhon is the administrative assistant of the Fundación Vida y Arte who is known for being diligent, creative and professional in what he does, besides his administrative work, he works as teacher at the Foundation-with emphasis on Guitar and Piano– he was appointed as a teacher due to his achievement in the “ARTISTIC LEADERS- SEVEN MAJOR” project, in which, after much preparation and study from early 2010, he goes to belong to the pedagogical-musical department of the Fundación Vida y Arte.

He has participated in different workshops with renowned teachers – Guitar / Oscar Portillo, Percussion and Drum / Andrés Garzón– among others.

He began his musical training at age 15 with the guitar as his main instrument. Due to his high performance he was enrolled to the “International Leadership Program”, which, after three years of preparation and study in different areas such as theory and Solfeo, Harmony, History of Music, instrumental workshop and Pedagogy , began his work as a teacher of guitar in several projects at the Foundation, he is characterized by achieving excellent results with their students.

Today Diego belongs to the music department of the Foundation and teaches students of different ages and in different areas of the City of Bogotá.

Guitar and Choir Teacher

Patricia studied at the Inca University of Colombia and has attended several training workshops and tutorials with recognized professors  such as: Luis Guevara (Electric Bass Teacher), Wilton Santamaria (Electric Bass Teacher), (Jorge Villamarín (Electric Bass Teacher), Henry Gacharná (Guitar Teacher). She has attended several Technical Vocal workshops with teachers such as  Oscar Portillo, Xiomara Henao, Pilar Ortiz, Paola Pantaleon and workshops of percussion and ensemble. Patricia currently works as teacher of guitar, choir and musical initiation at the Fundación Vida y Arte. She also works as a Music teacher in a Primary School.

Patricia is part of the team of Fundación Vida y Arte since its inception, her perseverance and hard work have helped the growth of the fundation as she is a person devoted to her work, very professional, responsible for all assigned tasks.

She began her musical training from an early age with the guitar instrument. Thanks to her great performance, she was linked to the project “Semilleros de Guitarra – Séptima Mayor”, in which, after 5 years of preparation and study in different areas such as theory and solfege, harmony, history of music, instrumental workshop and pedagogy , begins her work as a teacher of Guitar and musical initiation, characterized by her great results.

She has complemented her training with other studies such as Piano, Bass and Performing Arts, as well as various workshops, conferences and retreats that contribute to her personal growth.

It is part of the team with emphasis on early stimulation with very young children.
